Saving Humankind Project (COVID-19)

I have published an article (story) on medium.com and quora.com with less success. Sparsely read so far.

My idea is that if one can successfully cleanse its lungs, no stagnant fluid accumulates in the lungs, hence the possibility of secondary infections so that one ends up on ventilator is decreasing. Getting off of vents are surprisingly low chance:

I can not imagine anyone doing this exercise correctly on a regular basis and still getting into a condition that needs to be tied to a ventilator. My imagination may be limited of course, but one way or the other, I think it’s worth fighting to the end, especially if it only takes 5 minutes a few times a day. Once tied to the machine, you can no longer do that. At least I think so.

This is the content of my article:

Corona-yoga: A simple 5 minute exercise that can save your life

I am possibly infected with COVID-19. Not yet tested, but based on the indications, I am 99% sure.

The earliest indication was that I could not do yoga style deep exhalation exercise. This is the only yoga exercise I regularly practice, beyond this I have no yoga experiences, but this one makes it for me. It relaxes, heals pains, cleans your system, etc.

So my addition to this well known exercise is how can you do it even though you feel you can not.

I understand the despair of those who, like me, are unable to do the very practice that would cleanse their lungs in the time when it is most critical, and feel that slowly being filled with something that should not be there at all.

My experience was that I can do it but slowly, gradually, and with an extra step of closing my throat and relax my diaphragm, after which step I can exhale more, and next time even more, eventually close to the ideal state exercise.

After a successful exercise my lungs definitely freed up, and lots of “stuff” have been brought out with simple throat clearing for hours after it.

Please do this in a safe place, but certainly not during driving or biking, as can cause dizziness and attention disorder.

Prior to the practice drink as much water as you easily can.

This is the Corona-yoga exercise in 12 steps:

1. Relax. Then slow, deep exhalation

2. natural inhalation

3. slow, deep exhalation

4. natural inhalation

5. slow, deep exhalation

6. natural inhalation

7. slow, deep exhalation

7.1. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

7.2. further deep exhalation

8. natural inhalation

9. slow, deep exhalation

9.1. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

9.2. further deep exhalation

9.3. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

9.4. further deep exhalation

10. natural inhalation

11. slow, deep exhalation

11.1. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

11.2. further deep exhalation

11.3. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

11.4. further deep exhalation

11.5. pharyngeal closing, diaphragm relaxation (trying to inhale with closed throat)

11.6. further deep exhalation

12. natural inhalation. End of practice.
